My focus is exclusively on prioritizing the patient, actively choosing to be flexible, when appropriate, between using typical solutions and paradigms; and flowing through the session intuitively and organically.
I've always known, deep within me, that I wanted to be a healer. My journey has taken me through incredible places and challenging roads, leading me to where I am now.
Originally aspiring to become a medical doctor, I pragmatically chose nursing school with the intention of later applying to medical school. Two years after graduating, I discovered Homeopathic Medicine, which deeply resonated with me due to its focus on individualized care.
After an unsuccessful attempt to enter medical school, I pursued non-traditional nursing roles, obtaining licenses in Ontario and Florida. I also underwent paramedic training, drawn to the trauma aspect of medicine. Over the past decade, I have been heavily involved in various aspects of mental health, particularly acute and crisis work on a COAST team and in Forensics at a Detention Centre in Southern Ontario. Through assisting clients with mental health issues, both acute/crisis and chronic, I have found my true calling. Additionally, my personal journey includes overcoming PTSD and C-PTSD through years of dedicated healing.
I now believe in the power of healing, having experienced it myself. I've accepted my intuitive abilities, incorporating them into treatment with client consent.
You hold the power to heal within yourself. The journey requires your effort and commitment. You can become what you aspire to be, and I am here to support you every step of the way. My message is that everyone possesses the ability to heal; it's a matter of being ready to take that brave first step.
